SecMon (formerly known as Secure Monitoring) was incorporated in April 2000. It owns and operates a 24-hour Surveillance Control Room, which monitors fixed and mobile assets via alarm systems, access controls, remote video and vehicle tracking systems. It runs the Control Room located at the entrance to Smorgon Industries, and monitors Smorgon’s on-site security. Other clients include the City of Melbourne, US Military Services, The Reject Shop (national), General Pants, Clive Peeters, Westfield Shopping Centres, The Salvation Army, Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE (NMIT) and AirRoad.
